Behringer ada8000

Just got the behringer ada8000 ,recorded my drums with it and am very pleased with the results prefer the pres to my soundcraft sx20 and the digi 001 (these results are homerecording standard) the thing is after all the feedback on this product especially negative feedback i was skeptical about it but its not at all bad! I think behringer has actually got something here, a cheap quality product for the budget homestudio!

I have one too, and i agree. It is nice, especially for the price, but you "grow out of it" quite quickly. The pre's are very very quiet though...but the high-end is a little brittle.

A freind recently got one, well 3 actually. the frist one was DOA. the second and thrid had no working channel 7. We finally sain what the *#@! and gave the thrid one a test run. we found it to be inferior to the 001 pres and converters, and given the QC issues and behringer rep, he took it back for an Alesis AI-8, whcih was a smart move IMHO. Unrelated (except it is also Behreinger bashing) the same friend burchased 9 Behringer truth monitors, and none of them were even remotely matched.
