Help: New Plugins Aren't Showing Up

MessageAuthor

They are JS effects, not VSTs. Put them within your App Data folder (in C:\Documents and Settings\DarkStar\Application Data\REAPER\Effects\IX here, on Windows XP)) If Reaper will be pretty useless to you without these, where did you have them before?

If you're on Vista, they're now in a normally hidden folder. You can make that folder popup by making it an "action". Look for my thread in the Jesusonic forum here, Ixix had a good reply that explained it.

RE: Help: New Plugins Aren't Showing Up

DarkStar nailed it. The plug-ins that reaper accesses during use aren't in the reaper program files as I assumed. They're in Documents and Settings/user/Application Data/reaper/... etc. I discovered this under options -> show reaper resource path in explorer / finder. Thanks for the responses. Everything's working great now. Same applies to ix_keymaps, by the way.
