Yes, I've noticed this today too. On several systems running both 7.1cs10, and 7.3. I also saw some issues earlier today with a client where the quicktime in pro tools was perfectly in synch, but the Bounce to disc was clearly out of synch and got worse as time went on. Which means it was bounced at a frame rate not consistent with the session settings. What's going on here with Quicktime!

Be very careful when using ADD SCALED. You are very likely to stretch the audiotrack to a new length, thus creating a different sync problem. Use ADD instead, that will work even if your movie and audio are different lengths, as long as they have the same start (paste) point.

Hi, I've been experiencing the same behaviour yesterday PT HD 7.2cs2.... Very confusing as this is the first time for me. It must be kind of random because last week I bounced 20+ mov and they were all in stereo ....???? Digi, can you comment please ?

Can you please provide more information on your system, Pro Tools version, Quicktime version, attached peripherals and any other pertinent info as well as which troubleshooting steps you've tried so that we can investigate this?

Dual 2.3 G5, 3.5 GB Ram OS 10.4.8 Protool 7.3cs1 Quicktime 7.13 Attached canopus video converter Again. This problem exist also on my 6.93cs2 HD machine on OS 10.4.3 and was on different quicktime versions I bounce to quicktime dv file. My only solution to this ist to BNC the the sound separate and then paste it into the quicktime movie. This is a random problem and depends on the session. Actually i have a feature that has two parts. Whatever i Bounce in the first session ist stereo Whathever I bounce in the second session is MONO And this is on the same system withe the same quicktime...... Ale
