RE: Record monitoring latency

When I switch to ASIO, Reaper doesn't recognize any signal coming in.

Yes, I have ASIO4ALL installed. Here is a screenshot of where I'm stuck: EIE is my interface. But Reaper won't recognize any signal in the record monitor.

right-click the track's arm button (round red one), and in the menu that comes up, make sure input is set correctly.

RE: Record monitoring latency

OK... progress but now another problem. No more latency but now my signal doesn't have much volume and it's distorted and "tinny" sounding, if that makes sense. Right now I have my monitors hooked up to the interface's output. Should I be doing this or should I monitor through the computer's output?
