Cubic, I've deleted the old files and installed the new ones from CubicPack. I created a new project, added blank tracks to it, selected a couple of them, and then used the layout buttons. I don't see any changes to them in either the TCP or the MCP. Also, I don't see any sort of dialogue box being opened up. I've tried all the various layout buttons, and I understand that some of them are supposed to change only the header, but nothing at all changes. Any ideas why it's not working or how I can debug it? Later, Hartley
Cubic, Yes, the problem was my failure to register the new scripts. I was fooled by the old ones showing up so I thought importing the keymap sufficed. I've never been real clear on what that step of importing the scripts into the action list actually does. Thanks again, Hartley
Thanks, Commala ! :) Version 1.10 just uploaded. Several enhancements : - Fix for the Ripple editing toolbar icons which still weren't working exactly as expected. To any previous user : be sure to replace the old EF_toolbar1 with the new one. - Added : transport_next.png and transport_previous.png controls, which were missing until now. - Straighten up management of the track icons in the mixer. - And the true reason of this update : I finally got rid of the horrible vertical '0' line in the sendlist slots. This, in the hard way, by tweaking all the involved .png files. Be careful when eventualy changing the color of the 'Mixer send texts' values in the 'Theme development/Tweaker' window : it might show again its ugly head... - Few added cosmetic fixes, mainly concerning the mcp/master.mcp sendlist (colors, disposition, display of midihw...). Hope it will be useful for some of you...
hi thanks for the theme but could you get rid of the reaper sign on the tracks on the left side thank you very much

@TheWhistler Just looked more closely at the Default_Commala_5 theme and its FX_rack layout. Indeed, it gives more space to the mcp extended area but the pan/width controls are still there as horizontal faders at the top of the strip. This is doable because the set mcp.extmixer.mode is set as [1] for this layout. In the same way, the mcp.volume control is also here, but as a knob instead of a fader. I could probably do the same thing but, to be honest, I prefer a homogeneous view of the mixer with every controls at the same place. But you can get an approaching result as Commala FX_rack layout, using the 'AM' (with adjustable mcp panels heights) declinations of my themes. I shall try to condense a little more the way the controls are displayed when the mcp panel is at a minimal height (maybe with horizontal meters and a volume knob) for a future update. @runaudio Several things here, if I understand well... 1) About the fader colors : the problem here is that I'll have to multiply the already existing layouts by as much as colors implemented for the faders caps, and the colors will be fixed. Is it worth doing so ? Could be... Will see if I can implement, at least, three or four colors for a future update. 2) The fx parameters have fixed colors : AFAIK, there is no way to change the themed colors of the controls, excepting the related labels in the 'Theme development/tweaking' window. 3) You can change tracks/clips colors in the arrange view the usual way. This is why I implemented (Generic) tcp layouts for each type of track, which gives to the involved tcp header a neutral grey similar to Cubase one which, IMO, can go with any track/item/take color that could be choosed. Be sure that, in the 'Appearance-Peaks/Waveforms' page of the preferences window, the relevent Tint media item waveform/background settings are ticked for this.
